Thanks for posting this. I remember the Charlie Brown cartoons. I loved them as a child. And this one was very much enjoyed, since I miss T-day so much living here in The Netherlands - where it is not celebrated.
Robby, as Carmin stated I remember this cartoon as a child also. I am just curious about what your students thought about the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
Carmin's comment about Thanksgiving made me think of the countless times I am asked here how we celebrate Thanksgiving in France!!! I kid you not. I am running out of smart aleck answers. Hellllooooo people! No pilgrims, no Indians, no Thanksgiving lol.
I like the idea of including the Charlie Brown cartoon into the lesson. What a great way to teach students the history of Thanksgiving.
